I found some awesome plans to make no-spill feeders that can hold a larger amount of chicken feed. Our current feeders just aren't working. Our feathery ladies keep knocking over the feeder to spread the feed on the floor to scratch at it. The mess is driving me nuts!
Each time one of us goes outside, they run over to the corner of the coop waiting expectantly for someone to feed them. They have also been pros at knocking over the waterer. I am hoping to get this project done before our vacation next month so that they need minimal care for those watching over our house and small zoo while we are away.
